Family Support Worker- Maternity Cover

Initially 43 weeks, 36 hours a week 

To cover Maternity Leave 

Salary: PS6 starting at £29,697 
(dependant on experience)

Note: we do not sponsor candidates living abroad and we always conduct face to face interviews.

A great opportunity has arisen for an experience and enthusiastic Family Support Worker. the post holder will have relevant experience of working with families and young people in a supportive role and be able to work on their own initiative to improve our student' wellbeing, attendance and therefore achievement. you should be an organised, energetic and committed person, with excellent English and communication skills.

Liaising with teaching staff and both internal and external support services will be essential. You will be required to work within school, family homes and the local community, communicating via phone and email.

You must be willing independently to a variety of locations (mileage will be paid) and manage your time to meet the needs of the families.
