Personal Assistant to Headteacher
Required from December 2023 (or sooner if possible)
5 days a week (36 hours)
Term time only + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)
Surrey Pay grade S7: £31,262 - £32,702 FTE
pro-rata rate dependent upon experience
As a large, high performing, supportive and progressive secondary school, we are seeking a specific individual to join our family at Winston. In this position the successful applicant will ensure the provision of high-quality support to the Headteacher in the role of personal assistant.
As with all our middle management roles, we strongly encourage you to visit us and discuss the role, so that you are aware of our expectations and better understand how the school operates.
The role includes managing and developing the school office, secretarial and administrative functions, to include the reprographic department, ensuring and creating a flexible multi-tasking support team. The ability to organise general and whole school events is also a necessity. Applicants should have excellent ICT skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills; be able to work as part of a team; have the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and maintain confidentiality.
