We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with financial administration experience, to join our vibrant and supportive team. You will be engaged in a variety of tasks, as well as providing day-to-day support and back up for the School Finance Manager.

The role will comprise of, but is not limited to, activities and responsibilities such as:

• Assisting the Finance Manager with the operating and monitoring of all school accounts and ensuring the safe receipt and handling of all monies and the reconciliation of transactions.
• Management of the weekly BACS payment process.
• Overseeing the process of wider ordering and payments within the department, ensuring it is carried out with the assistance of other members of the finance team.
• Working as part of a team processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of queries.
• Input and responsibility for transactions relating to bank statements and receipts.
• Responsibility for managing the financial element of lettings on our school premises.
• Interacting with school staff, suppliers, agencies and parents as necessary

Applicants must have a flexible approach to work, be of smart appearance and have excellent IT and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Previous experience within a financial background and a knowledge of basic financial principles is essential. Ideally, experience within an education background is desirable. Full training on school systems will be provided, if required.
