ParentPay: our new school payment system
We are pleased to inform you that we are launching a new system which will enable us to accept payments online for school trips and visits and in the longer term also for the advance payment of school meals. Using a secure website called ParentPay® you will be able to pay online using your credit or debit card.
We are hoping that everyone will benefit considerably from this new facility. ParentPay is easy-to-use and you have the freedom to make payments whenever you want, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Gone are the days of writing cheques or finding the cash to send into school!
Many parents will welcome the certainty that money paid using ParentPay will reach school quickly and safely. Your child no longer has to take responsibility for carrying money into school.
The more parents that decide to use ParentPay the greater the benefit is to the school. You can help us reduce workloads for all staff, creating more time to lend to educational support and the smooth running of the school. It also ensures that all money transactions are safe and secure.
Over the next few months trips on an individual basis will be opened up to the new system. If you would like to have your secure username and password mailed to you, please send your request with your childs name and form to the following email address: schoolfund@wcsc.org.uk
Below is a guideline on how the system works:
Getting started with ParentPay
1. ‘Login’ to www.parentpay.com
2. enter your username and password (to be provided by the school)
3. go to ‘Profile’ and change your username and password to something that you can easily remember
4. register your email address on the ‘Profile’ page so we can send you receipts and reminders
5. go to ‘Items for payment’ and select which items you wish to pay
6. follow the simple online instructions to complete your transaction
7. to view payments that you have made click on ‘History’
