Family Support Worker
Required as soon as possible
36 hours per week / 42 weeks per year
Salary grade S6: (£19,796 to £23,238)
(dependent upon experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Family Support Worker. The post holder will have relevant experience of working with families and young people in a supportive role and be able to work on their own initiative to improve our students’ well-being and achievement. You should be an organised, energetic and committed person with excellent communication skills.
Liaison with teaching staff and both internal & external support services will be essential. You will be required to work within school, family homes and the local community, face to face and communicating via phone and e-mail.
You must be willing to travel independently to a variety of locations (mileage will be paid) and manage your time to meet the needs of the families. Hours worked will need to be flexible.
